#30540 Three Axis Gantry Control Module

    The Three Axis Gantry Control Module, simulates the operation of an overhead gantry crane. Three dimensional movements along the X, Y, & Z axes allow for the immediate visibility of programmed action and facilitates program testing. Two outer longitudinal beams carry the X axes slide onto with is mounted the Y and Z axes. A gripper assembly is attached to the bottom of the Z axes. With this gripper and it’s limits switches the module can pick-up and stack parts three high on the module part storage area. Taking parts off the conveyor line and placing them into column and rows or verse-versa. Positional feedback is provided by limit switches and an infrared sensor is used to detect if a part is in place. Infrared sensors located at the start, middle, and the end of the conveyor belt. Along with a magnetic sensor make this module capable of detecting both green and blue parts. This module is can be used for moving parts from storage into a factory system or it can be used to take the parts off the factory system to be put into storage.
